Terms & Conditions

The terms governing bespoke stretch-fabric wall finish consultations, quotations and installations carried out by Aceline Fabric Interiors.

Last updated: June 2024

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of bespoke stretch-fabric wall finish consultations, quotations, and installation services by Aceline Fabric Interiors ("Aceline", "we", "us", "our") to private residential clients ("you", "your", "the Client") in England, Wales, and elsewhere in the UK. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

Aceline provides bespoke stretch-fabric wall finish solutions for residential interiors, including media rooms, home cinemas, bedrooms, studies and feature walls. Each installation is designed and manufactured to the specific dimensions and requirements of your property, following an in-person or digital consultation.

2. Consultations, Quotations & Approvals

  • All projects begin with a consultation to assess the room, discuss fabric, colour and finish preferences, and take accurate measurements.
  • Quotations are provided in writing and are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Prices are based on the information and measurements available at the time and may be revised if room dimensions or specifications change.
  • Before manufacture begins, we will ask you to formally approve the final fabric selection, colour, texture and design specification. Work will not commence on bespoke items until this written approval has been received.
  • You are responsible for checking all measurements, fabric samples and design details provided to us are accurate before giving approval.

3. Site Preparation & Access

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring the installation area is clean, clear of furniture and obstructions, and accessible on the agreed installation date(s).
  • Walls must be structurally sound, dry and suitable for fabric wall systems. Aceline may recommend or require remedial works to be completed by the Client prior to installation.
  • Any delays caused by inadequate site preparation, restricted access, or third-party trades may incur additional charges and extend the agreed installation timeline.

4. Bespoke Orders & Cancellations

  • Because each fabric wall finish is manufactured to bespoke specifications for your property, orders cannot be resold or reused once fabric has been cut or track systems fabricated to size.
  • A deposit is required to confirm your order and commence bespoke manufacture. The balance is payable on completion of installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Cancellations made after fabric has been cut or manufacture has commenced may be subject to a charge reflecting materials and labour already committed.

5. Installation & Client Cooperation

Our installation team will take all reasonable care to protect your property during installation. The Client agrees to provide reasonable access, parking, and working conditions to enable installation to be completed efficiently and safely.

6. Liability

  • Aceline will carry out all works with reasonable skill and care, in line with industry standards for bespoke fabric wall finishes.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing defects in walls, structures, or electrical or acoustic systems that are not identified or disclosed prior to installation.
  • Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the relevant order.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

7. Warranty & Aftercare

Aceline provides a workmanship warranty on installations, details of which will be confirmed in your project documentation. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alteration, or normal wear and tear.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising from these Terms or our services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to your project are those confirmed in writing at the point your order is placed.
